We know that whether you are coming to our Nursery for the first time or transferring from another setting, it is an important transition for you and your child, also one that needs to be handled with care. This may be your first experience of Nursery life and in many cases when your child starts with us. It may be the longest time you have been away from your child.
A home visit will be organised before your child starts. A Keyperson shall be assigned once we gain an insight into your child's personality and needs.
To help the settling process, parents will receive an induction to begin our working partnership.
We like parents to view our practice over a number of weeks. This instills a sense of trust and knowledge that whatever your child encounters, our staff will be professional and nurturing at all times.
"All children make consistently rapid progress from their starting points. Staff begin their exceptional tracking of children's development from the information parents provide on entry. This enables them to very quickly identify where development is less than expected and to put in place strategies to help children swiftly catch up."
